LIVE Hockey Streaming Platform Launched

Hockey in Australia has entered a new dawn with the launch of LIVEHockey – a dedicated home for LIVE streaming of national and state/territory hockey events.
The innovation is the first of its kind for sport in Australia, uniting Hockey Australia and all eight state/territory Member Associations by bringing select hockey tournaments and competitions into one centralised LIVE streaming hub.
Hockey NSW is proud to be an early adopter and driver of this exciting live streaming revolution for hockey.
We're excited to be bringing the hockey community over 400 hours of action from all of our 2022 NSW Field & Indoor State Championships throughout the year.
Additionally, we are delighted to confirm that the first day of each Field State Championship event will be free to view. This will allow our community the chance to trial the new Clutch platform before committing to a subscription.
Hockey NSW Interim CEO Craig Beed acknowledges the significant amount of work that went into bringing the platform to fruition, and is looking forward to seeing NSW content launched on LIVE Hockey.
"Hockey NSW is excited to partner with Clutch to broadcast our upcoming Field & Indoor State Championships on the new LIVE Hockey platform. Our events will head to nearly every corner of the State in 2022, and this deal will ensure that everyone has an opportunity to check out the action," said Beed.
"With over 70% of our members in NSW based regionally, LIVEHockey will provide an unprecedented level of streaming coverage to our community."
Significantly, part of the subscription costs from LIVEHockey will be reinvested back into the sport.
The new LIVEHockey platform will take browsers to a centralised home page where they can see what is currently LIVE, view upcoming matches and go to each Member Association channel for their respective content.
In addition to our NSW events, LIVEHockey will also host live-streaming of all Hockey Australia's National Championships, as well as a variety of other hockey content from across Australia.
LIVEHockey will comprise a combination of free-to-view content and affordable paid subscription content (a variety of subscription options will be available and any hockey member who purchases an annual subscription will receive a 10% discount).
