Hockey Australia alongside Hockey New South Wales have launched its latest initiative to enhance the safety and well-being of the Hockey community.
The new Concussion and Injury Reporting Tool is designed to simplify and streamline the reporting of concussion and injury incidents.
This tool is fully integrated with our online sports management platform, revolutioniseSPORT, and is accessible to anyone within the Hockey community without requiring logins or passwords.
Effective immediately, this tool can be accessed directly from the Hockey NSW website homepage at https://www.hockeynsw.com.au/injury/ and on all state and territory Member Association websites.
This new tool marks a significant step forward in Hockey Australia and Hockey New South Wales commitment to prioritising participant safety and well-being. By streamlining the reporting process, we aim to leverage improved data and insights to inform data-driven decision-making, continually enhancing our efforts in injury prevention through new and revised safety protocols, equipment and rules.
Hockey NSW encourages all members of the Hockey community to use this tool to promptly report all concussions and injuries, adhere to the return-to-play protocol in the national Concussion Policy, and where necessary, ensure timely referral of all concussions and injuries to a medical professional as soon as possible for assessment and treatment.
