David Pandel appointed as Men's Masters Secretary

Hockey NSW Men’s Masters is pleased to announce the appointment of David Pandel as the new Men’s Masters Secretary. With nearly five decades of dedication to the sport, David brings a wealth of experience and a passion for hockey. David’s appointment has been endorsed by the Hockey NSW Board.

David's journey in hockey spans 49 years, primarily with Norths Hockey Club in Newcastle, where he has been actively involved for 46 years. His involvement extends beyond the club level, having dedicated 15 years to its administration and management. For the past seven years, David has also played a pivotal role in the Newcastle Masters and Men's Hockey Grading Committee, demonstrating his commitment to both local and regional hockey governance.

A seasoned participant in NSW Masters teams for six years, David’s leadership and insight has been invaluable, even during the challenging times caused by covid-related disruptions. 

David’s extensive experience in hockey administration over the past 25 years positions him to excel in his new role as Men’s Masters Secretary. David looks forward to collaborating with the current committee to foster transparency, inclusivity and a drive towards reclaiming NSW’s title as the number 1 state.
