Looking to change it up this season? It's time to Choose Hockey! Will we be seeing you playing Hockey in 2024?

Hockey is a sport for all ages, backgrounds and cultures, with a great introductory program Hookin2Hockey available for those aged between 5-12 years. We hope to inspire the next generation of recreational Hockey players to Choose Hockey this year by showcasing our welcoming and family orientated sport across NSW.

What are the benefits of playing Hockey?

Having Fun
Hockey is a great sport that is open to all ages, backgrounds and cultures. Hockey prides itself on being a family orientated sport with a strong community feeling. Everyone is welcome at a Hockey centre where we encourage and foster the skills of Hockey, the love of playing and the fun and relationships that a sport like Hockey can foster.

Gaining health benefits from undertaking a physical sport and the added benefit of having fun while doing it.

Developing verbal and no verbal communication skills used throughout the games.

Learn to respect officials, team mates, opponents and supporters. Showing them how to properly navigate challenging situations. 

Learn the important of working with others to provide support and communicating as a team to achieve the best result.

Using both the a stick and a ball in a Hockey game supports the development of hand eye co-ordination as well as improving reflexes and agility.

A feeling they'll gain upon mastering a new skill and working with their team.
