Theory session covering the basics of Indoor Hockey umpiring including; Positioning, Rules & Interpretations, Game Management, Teamwork, Pathways and Accreditation.

Practical assessment and coaching will be provided on matches

The umpiring sessions are open to all umpires, beginner, intermediate and advanced, who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of the rules of Indoor Hockey.

HockeyEd Community Indoor Umpire Accreditation – can be completed at all events. Those wishing to complete the HockeyEd Level 1 Indoor Umpire accreditation are requested to attend one of the U15/18 sessions. HockeyEd Level 1 candidates will be required to pay the $50 HockeyEd fee direct to Hockey Australia at registration.
