Congratulations on your invitation to be included into the Advanced Athlete Acceleration Program 2019 Program (AAAP). Hockey NSW apologies for the delay in communication regarding the AAAP commencement and registration process. Hockey NSW are now able to offer the program and registration via Revolutionise link below.

The program is partially funded by Hockey NSW and will commence from February 2nd and conclude on the 31st of July 2019. Your full commitment to the program and the training environment is required as this is a NSW High Performance program, not an participation event.

The AAAP program will focus on the following:

  • Providing High Performance Coaching
  • Preparation for Hockey NSW U21 team selection process
  • National U21 Championship preparation
  • Athlete monitoring via Athlete Monitoring System (AMS)
  • Communication via Hudl
  • AAAP U21 Induction camp

 

The AAAP program will provide the following:

  • Training venue hire
  • High performance coaching
  • AAAP Singlet
  • Registration for the Hockey NSW Under 21 Squad (included in program fee)
  • Weekly training environments are planned for Wollongong, Lidcombe and Newcastle. Athletes outside these regions will be catered for by the HNSW RCC network.
  • Twice weekly training environment

 

When registering, it is important to advise us of your training location for 2019. All trainings will be in the early mornings most possibly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you decline this offer it will not affect your 2019 U21 squad position. Information

A Hockey NSW AAAP appointed coach will be in contact shortly to discuss a training program for each individual athlete. They will also discuss your best local training environment. These sessions will be conducted by high performance coaches and provide an opportunity for athletes to be best prepared for Under 21 Nationals.
