SPORTING SCHOOLS IN 2024
Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities.
Sporting Schools programs provide schools with the opportunity to apply for funding to provide school sports programs free to children and their families to help students build their confidence and capability to be active for life.

PROGRAM DELIVERY OPTIONS
Coach Delivered Program
Hockey NSW have partnered with Sporting Schools and Hockey Australia to come up with a Coach delivered hockey program delivered by accredited Hockey NSW coaches or our approved external providers.
Teacher Delivered Program
For a Teacher delivered hockey program, schools are provided with a digital booklet with lesson plans and information to assist with the optional purchase of equipment.
